Abstract:
This rulemaking would amend the approval process for certain class 1 (explosive) hazardous materials. Specifically, this rulemaking would simplify current procedures and requirements for the classification of these low-hazard explosives. The amendments would provide regulatory relief for numerous energetics manufacturers and shippers while maintaining the safety of manufacture and transport. |
