Abstract:
The rulemaking proposes to amend 49 CFR part 223 by modifying the existing glazing standards to incorporate long-standing waivers and address the glazing requirements for equipment operated by smaller low-speed railroads, as well as equipment operated by tourist, excursion, and scenic railroads. The rulemaking would also update the test methods used to certify glazing. |
