| Abstract: This rulemaking would amend FMVSS No. 210, Seat belt assembly anchorages, to replace the existing body blocks for testing the strength of seat belts with a new Force Application Device and associated positioning procedure. This rulemaking, if finalized, would simplify the compliance test of the standard and improve NHTSA´s evaluation of seat belt anchorage strength. | |
