Abstract:
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) seeks information about transactions involving carbon dioxide removal (CDR) services from organizations buying or facilitating these services. DOE will use information collected to administer its suite of CDR programs. This information collection request (ICR) will also serve as the application to join a specific program, the Voluntary CDR Purchasing Challenge (hereafter “Challenge”). DOE intends to publish some information collected to recognize participants in the Challenge using specific transactions. Respondents may be U.S. or international private or public sector organizations that purchase CDR services. Responses are voluntary but required to participate in the Challenge and potentially other future programs.
