Title: Direct Grant Programs, State-Administered Formula Grant Programs 
Abstract:

The Department plans to rescind certain regulations under 34 CFR parts 75 and 76 that place additional requirements on postsecondary institutions of higher education (IHEs) that receive Federal research or education grants as a material condition of the Department’s grant.  A request for information seeking public comments on the First Amendment and Free Inquiry Related Grant Conditions occurred from February 22 to March 22, 2023.
