Title: Single-Engine Turbine-Powered Aircraft Inspection Program Modernization
Abstract:

This action would revise the rules for aircraft maintenance, primarily in the area of aircraft inspections for smaller and corporate sized aircraft. Currently, single-engine turbine-powered aircraft cannot take advantage of inspection programs devised by the aircraft manufacturer. Adding this option to the FAA regulatory structure will increase options for aircraft owners and operators and reduce cost.
