Title: Modernization of Permit Application Requirements for Manufacturers of Tobacco Products or Processed Tobacco 
Abstract:

The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau is proposing to modernize and streamline the requirements for permit applications to engage in the business of a manufacturer of tobacco products or processed tobacco set forth in 27 CFR part 40.  This deregulatory measure is expected to reduce the burden on industry members with regard to the information that must be submitted as part of the permit application.
