Various provisions of the Education Department General Administrative Regulations (EDGAR) will be revised for policy reasons or because they are outdated. The Department plans to review and amend or rescind these regulations as needed in order to be consistent with current law and to reduce or eliminate unnecessary burdens and restrictions. For example, the Department is exploring whether revisions are needed to update grant requirements related to evidence, privacy protections, open licensing, and general grants procedures.
